Ultrasonic Flowmeter

ONICON F-4200 Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flow Meters offer an ideal solution for liquid measurement in existing systems when it is impractical to install traditional flanged or insertion type flow meters. Utilizing a matched pair of high precision clamp-on transducers, mounting track assembly, cabling and processor with LCD/keypad, the F-4200 accurately measures most liquids over a wide velocity range.

Ultrasonic Flowmeter F4600 Series

ONICON's F-4600 Inline Flow Meters are designed to accurately measure the flow of water and water glycol solutions in small pipes. Meters are available for ½” – 2” diameter pipes. The no-moving-parts design operates over a wide flow range with excellent low flow performance.

The low cost design is provided with threaded process connections, a 4-20mA analog output and a scaled dry contact pulse output for totalization

Typical Applications
The F-4600 inline flow meter is ideal for chilled water, hot water, domestic water, condenser water, steam condensate and boiler feed water.

Ultra 3 and 5 represent the leading edge of ultrasonic level measurement and control. Sophisticated, full function controllers with either 3 (Ultra 3) or 5 (Ultra 5) control/alarm relays and mA output. Wall, fascia, panel or rack mount, Ultra 3 and 5 units provide large displays with intuitive and straightforward menu programming. An Ultra system consists of a control unit and a transducer, which may be positioned up to 1,600 feet away. Both Ultra 3 and Ultra 5 have the option of bus type digital communications and data logging and, coupled with the dBMACH3 transducer which offers a virtual zero dead zone to 8.2 feet range.

Pulsar's Flow Pulse is a compact and cost-effective pipe flow monitor that promises exceptional repeatability, accuracy and simple installation with no down time. Flow Pulse is perfect for monitoring flow rate in fluid distribution systems, for pump efficiency checks, in process plant or sewage pumping stations.

Flow Pulse is a leap forward in flow measurement and in ease of installation - no need to break into a pipe, or to get any engineering involved, just clamp a small sensor to the outside of a pipe and immediately get a reliable, repeatable flow measurement (tools required = one screwdriver). Virtually no installation costs, no interruption to service, clean and simple.

Applications
Pipe material can be rigid plastic, stainless steel, mild steel or cast iron. Corrugated pipe is not an issue and even light corrosion will give a good result. Flow Pulse provides repeatability and accuracy of around ±5%. Flow Pulse comes in two versions, one working with pipes up to 350mm diameter, the other operating from 350mm to 1000mm.

Sludge Finder 2 provides a continuous level indication and 4 20 mA output of interface height from the tank bottom along with relays for alarm or control use . Sludge Finder 2 monitors SBR tanks, primary or secondary settlement tanks down to 0.5% density.
